L-Valine hcl

This is a required additive in a HNV bait. L-valine is important in metabolism and maintenance of nitrogen balance. It will improve the aborption of carbohydrates, it helps the immune system of fish in general.

It is one of three branched chain amino acids (BCAAs), these are required for protein synthesis. Also used in enriched food, it is a highly effective immunity antibiotic raw material. It is shown that l-valine is very stimulatory for carp during winter time in cold water; <14 degrees Celsius. Found mainly in krill, crab and mussel, among others.

Solubility: semi-soluble in water
