Natural cork balls for making pop-ups with the same recipe as used for bottom baits. Wary carp will find this very difficult to resist compared to the bottom baits, as they have the same consistency, colour, flavour and taste.

We recommend to adjust your recipe for making pop ups a little bit in order to make them harder and mould better around the cork ball.  This can be done by adding some whole eggpowder, egg albumen, yellow pea protein etc. to the basemix. Also sieve your mix in order to achieve a finer paste which will mold easier around the cork.
Next to this it helps to put some liquid egg white in a bowl and moisten the cork balls with this egg white before molding the paste around them. This will make the dough stick to the cork better.
For an 8mm cork ball use the same size dough: roll an 8mm dough ball and mold this around the cork ball. Same applies for every other size cork ball.
