n-Butyric acid

n-Butyric acid is a truly powerful carp attractor and one of the most effective additives / feedingtrigger available. Carp can detect this short-chain fatty acid at extremely low levels, even down to parts per billion, which means they can pick it up even when the bait is buried in bottom silt. It is completely natural and linked to fermentation and protein breakdown, making it a strong biological feeding cue. Although the aroma is extremely pungent, it produces a clear and reliable feeding response.

This organic acid disperses rapidly through water because of its high solubility and small molecular size, increasing the detection range around your bait. It also remains stable during boiling, as its boiling point is around 164°C, so its attraction is not lost in boilie production. Because carp are naturally sensitive to acidic and fermenting signals, n-butyric acid has the potential to improve catch rates many times over.

• Very pungent stinky smell
• Completely water soluble

Suggested dosage levels:

• In conjunction with other flavours only small amounts are needed; about 1 – 10 drops per kg mix will do the trick.
• Used on its own, or for maximum instant attraction; 1 – 2 ml per kg mix/particles/pellets.
• Used with dead baits; inject about 1ml directly in the flesh.

Always use gloves, do not taste/ingest or inhale, and keep away from eyes and children. This stuff is not girlfriend/wife friendly… Use in open air or a well-ventilated place.
